Monster Pots: Halloween Pottery Experience

Cute, scary, or a little bit of both—let’s make monster pots. Join Experience Pottery at The Releafery in Scranton, PA for a Halloween-ready pottery experience where we’ll use hand-building techniques to create adorable (or spooky) pottery monster pots.

This beginner-friendly experience is perfect for first-timers, friends, and anyone who wants a fun fall activity with something truly one-of-a-kind to show for it. We’ll guide you step-by-step as you build your pot, add monster features (eyes, teeth, texture, little feet—go wild), and make it totally your style.
 
What’s included: all materials, tools, and guided instruction.  
 
After the experience, we’ll take your piece back to our studio to be glazed and fired. You’ll pick up your finished pottery right here at The Releafery in about 3–4 weeks—we’ll notify you when it’s ready. 
 
**After the Event (What happens next):**  
 Your monster pot will dry fully, then go through two firings (bisque + glaze) to make it strong and ready for everyday use. Once it’s finished, we’ll deliver it back to The Releafery and you’ll pick it up. We’ll message you as soon as it’s ready.

Pottery is hands-on and a little unpredictable—each piece will be unique in shape, size, and finish. While we guide you step-by-step and handle your piece with care, there is a small chance that pottery may crack, warp, or break during drying, transport, or firing. If your piece doesn’t make it through the process, **we’ll provide a complimentary Experience Pottery gift card** so you can come back and create again.
